October 08, 2024
Gandhinagar: Results of the Haryana and Jammu-Kashmir Assembly polls are out, with BJP crossing the majority mark in Haryana and emerging as the second-largest party in J&K. Gujarat BJP Chief and Union Minister for Jal Shakti addressed the media at the state party headquarters, Shri Kamalam, in Gandhinagar.
Addressing the media, Patil said, “Today is the counting day after the Haryana and Jammu-Kashmir elections. Several media outlets, both print and electronic, had projected different results, but today the voters of Haryana have once again proven their trust in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. We are leading on around 49 seats and are likely to win over 50 seats, forming the government for the third consecutive time in Haryana with a clear majority.”
“Amid the lies of Congress and its continuous false campaigns, the people’s hearts chose to put trust in PM Modi, and this is visible today. For this, I thank the people of Haryana. I also want to express my gratitude and continuous support to Modi saheb, under whose leadership we have won. I also want to congratulate the party workers in Haryana,” Patil added.
The Union Minister also said that “In Jammu & Kashmir, the slogan of development given by Modi saheb and the efforts taken by Home Minister Amit Shah to make J&K terrorism-free have seen positive results. People’s work and trade have resumed, and they were free from terror. Because of this, the BJP is leading on over 27 seats, while Congress is only leading on 10-12 seats. Farooq Abdullah and his party are obviously ahead in their own region, but it has been proven again that the people of J&K were looking for a path of development.” Deshgujarat
