RMC to issue bonds worth Rs. 100 crore

Rajkot: The Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) will issue bonds worth ₹100 crore ahead of Diwali. The civic body has submitted the memorandum regarding this with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Stock Exchange.
With this issue, the Rajkot Municipal Corporation will become the first civic body to issue public bonds. It is learned that the bidding for the bonds is likely to begin on October 16th, with the allotment taking place on October 18th, and the listing of bonds expected on the 21st. DeshGujarat
