Rs. 10 crore cash recovered in IT search and survey at 23 locations

Vadodara: The Income Tax department has found Rs. 10 crore cash after search and survey at 23 locations in Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Surat linked to Vadodara based real estate firms Nyalkaran and Ratnam Group. The Income Tax department has during the search/survey recovered jewelleries for valuation purpose. IT sleuths have also found bank lockers which are yet to be operated. It was prima facie concluded that the builder groups sold flats and offices at higher price than the mentioned prices on paper and the balance amount was collected as cash.
