47 parshads take sant diksha at Shree Lakshminarayan Dev Dwishatabdi Mahotsav in Vadtal

Vadodara: A total of 47 Parshads received Sant Diksha from Acharya Maharaj Rakesh Prasadji during the ongoing Shree Lakshminarayan Dev Dwishatabdi Mahotsav in Vadtal. Among them, 11 saints are degree holders.

Vadtal, the highest pilgrimage site of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, witnessed this significant event on the auspicious day of Prabodhini Ekadashi, 12th November 2024. Acharya Rakesh Prasadji performed the Diksha initiation, bringing the total number of Diksha recipients initiated by him to over 900. Notably, the Bhagavati Diksha ceremony took place at the sacred seat of Gopalanand Swami.

The 200th Kartiki Samayo of Lord Swaminarayan and the Dwishatabdi Mahotsav are currently being celebrated in Vadtal. This grand event, which runs from 7th to 15th November 2024, saw 47 aspiring saints dedicate their lives to the service of Lord Harikrishna Maharaj under the guidance of Acharya Rakesh Prasadji. Among them were principals who, after completing higher education, have devoted their lives to serving Sri Harikrishna Maharaj.

Several of the Parshads, who are highly educated and have taken Diksha, include Parshad Nishit Bhagat (B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering), who has been named Sadhu Yatiprakashdas; Parshad Narayan Bhagat, a Principal with a B.Sc. and B.Ed., now known as Sadhu Dharmachandras; Parshad Priyanshu Bhagat, a Software Engineer, who has taken the name Sadhu Param Chaitanyadas; Parshad Shreya Bhagat, a BCA graduate, now Sadhu Shreyaswarupdas; Parshad Dhruv Bhagat, a B.Com graduate, named Sadhu Murtijivandas; Parshad Priyank Bhagat, also with a B.Com degree, now Sadhu Prabodhajivandas; Parshad Hitartha Bhagat, holding a BBA, who is now Sadhu Haridevcharandas; and Parshad Jenish Bhagat, a 12th Science graduate, now Sadhu Jayteerthdas.
