Chased by stray dog, man falls from bike and dies in Surat

Surat: A 40-year-old man from Katargam lost his life after falling off a moving bike while attempting to shoo away a dog chasing the vehicle on Palanpur Canal Road. The victim, Ghanshyambhai Shamjibhai Parmar, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His friend, Nilesh, who was riding the bike, suffered minor injuries.
It is learned that Parmar, originally from Amreli district, lived in Mahavir Complex, Kubernagar, with his wife and daughter. He was engaged in the credit card business. The incident occurred late at night when he was riding pillion with his friend Nilesh for work. As a dog started chasing their bike on Palanpur Canal Road, Parmar lost balance while trying to scare it away, leading to a fatal fall. The injured friend was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared Parmar dead, while Nilesh sustained only minor injuries. Pal police have initiated an investigation into the matter. DeshGujarat
