Chhota Udepur: In a tragic incident, a five-year-old girl was murdered as a sacrifice by a tantrik in the tribal area of Panej village in Bodeli taluka.

According to details of the shocking incident, five-year-old Sita was playing outside her house in Panej village on the morning of the incident. Her mother and brother were washing clothes nearby when the tantrik, Lalo Himmat Tadvi, a neighbor, suddenly appeared and forcibly dragged the girl to his house. The terrified child cried for help, prompting her mother to scream and alert the neighbors. However, upon seeing the tantrik armed with an axe, no one dared to intervene. He then took the girl inside his house and brutally killed her by striking her neck with the axe.

The accused tantrik sacrificed the child on the steps of a small temple inside his house. He inflicted such a deep wound that her head was severed from her body, leaving the house covered in blood. He also poured the girl’s blood on the temple steps.

The girl’s family immediately informed the police. Upon receiving the report, the police rushed to the scene, arrested the accused tantrik, and initiated legal proceedings.
