RSS Gujarat holds impressive Sanghosh event at Pakistan border

Banaskantha: The ‘Seema Sanghosh’ event of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Gujarat Prant, was held at Nadabet Point on the India-Pakistan border on Sunday as part of RSS’s centenary celebrations, drawing RSS workers and spectators.
The RSS has long used Ghosh Vadan (instrumental music played in unison) as a symbol of discipline, energy, and motivation within society. As part of its centenary celebrations, the event aimed to enhance the quality of Ghosh training, instill patriotism, and encourage engagement with border communities.
The event featured 239 Ghosh Vadaks, who performed various traditional compositions on different musical instruments, captivating an audience of over 2,000 spectators, including locals, tourists, and dignitaries.
Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadesia, RSS’s Paschim Kshetra Sanghchalak and Chairman of Seema Jagran Manch – Gujarat, was the chief guest. The event featured musical performances and synchronized Ghosh demonstrations at the BSF retreat venue.
The program featured synchronized Ghosh performances, enhancing enthusiasm, discipline, and unity among RSS volunteers and the audience. The melodies, deeply rooted in India’s cultural heritage, added a spiritual and patriotic dimension to the event. Traditional compositions such as Meera, Shivranjini, Tilak Kamod, Durga, Tilang, Hansadhvani, and Kedar were played on the Venu (flute), while the Shrung (clarinet) resonated with tunes like Janmabhumi, Jayostute, and Shivranjini. The Shankh (bugle) brought forth stirring renditions of Shri Ram, Chetak, Vinayak, Veerashri, Dashamesh, Ajey, and Mangala, while the Madhurika showcased the melody Govardhan.
Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadesia, emphasized on the crucial role of border communities in national security. He highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between hinterland citizens and border residents to ensure a shared commitment to national integrity. DeshGujarat
