PM Modi Dials Gujarat CM over Tension on border

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi dialled Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and got details of Gujarat’s preparedness as a border State and the advance planning undertaken by the state government in the current situation of tension on the border. The Prime Minister also gave necessary guidance in this regard.
The Prime Minister also got details of adequate steps taken by the state government for the safety and security of citizens, especially in sensitive districts like Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Jamnagar, which are connected to the Pakistan border.
These details were shared by the Gujarat Chief Minister in a tweet today afternoon.
It’s worth noting that Gujarat is the only state bordering Pakistan which has land, air and coastal borders. According to an official press release by Ministry of Defence, India foiled an attempt to air-attack military installations across 15 cities by Pakistan including Gujarat’s Bhuj. DeshGujarat
