June 21, 2025
Valsad: In another infrastructure milestone under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project, a river bridge over the Darotha River in Valsad district has been completed, the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) announced today.
The 80-metre-long bridge, located between Boisar and Vapi stations, features two 40-metre steel box girder spans and stands on an 18-metre-high, 5-metre-diameter circular pier.
Recently, another milestone was achieved in Maharashtra for the project with the successful launch of the first full-span PSC box girder. This marks the beginning of superstructure works in the neighboring state and underscores the steady progress being made toward realizing India’s first high-speed rail corridor. DeshGujarat
