Devbhumi Dwarka: In yet another action against illegal encroachment, a demolition was launched today in the sensitive coastal areas of the district. An illegal dargah, allegedly erected on government land at Bhimrana village, was razed. In addition, encroachments on grazing (Gauchar) land and other government-owned land were also cleared under heavy police deployment.

During the demolition, a total of 18,200 square feet of land is being cleared, including 2,000 square feet of grazing land, officials stated.

DySP Sagar Rathod of Devbhumi Dwarka said that the religious encroachment had been erected on approximately 1,500 square meters of land along the coastal area. The structure, which had been in place for the past 40 years, was removed in a coordinated operation by the LCB, SOG, local police, and district administration.

This drive is part of the administration’s ongoing campaign to remove illegal encroachments. Similar actions have been taken in the past to clear unauthorized structures. Officials emphasized that the campaign will continue to protect government and grazing lands. DeshGujarat
