Mumbai: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani today extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday on behalf of the Reliance Group, the Ambani family, and the Indian business community, praising his decades-long dedication, the transformation of Gujarat, and his vision to make India a global superpower.
In a special video message, Ambani described the day as a celebration for 1.45 billion Indians. “Today is a festive day for 1.45 billion Indians. It is the 75th birthday of our respected and beloved Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji,” Ambani said.
“On behalf of the entire business community of India, on behalf of the Reliance Group, and on behalf of the Ambani family, I convey my heartiest felicitations to Prime Minister Modi ji. It is no coincidence that Modi Ji’s Amrit Mahotsav coincides with Bharat’s Amrit Kaal. My deepest wish is that Modi Ji continues to serve India when Independent India turns 100,” Ambani added.
He also expressed his respect in Sanskrit: “Jeevit Sharda Shatam Param Ardhaniya Narendra Bhai.” Ambani further stated, “God Almighty has sent Modi Ji as an avatar purush to guide our motherland toward becoming the greatest nation on earth.”
Highlighting the Prime Minister’s tireless efforts, Ambani remarked, “I have never seen a leader work so relentlessly for a better future for India and Indians. He first transformed Gujarat into an economic hub and is now transforming the whole of India toward becoming a global superpower.”
Alongside Ambani, world leaders and prominent figures extended their greetings. US President Donald Trump and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates sent wishes, with Gates emphasizing hope for Modi Ji’s good health and continued strength, while highlighting the Gates Foundation’s appreciation for its partnership with the Government of India in advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat and promoting innovations for the Global South.
Among other business leaders, RP-Sanjiv Goenka, chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and owner of the Lucknow Super Giants IPL team, said: “Prime Minister, heartiest birthday wishes to you. You have given the country and its citizens new respect, prestige, direction, and honour. No amount of praise is enough for you. Your policies have been groundbreaking, and your vision is unprecedented. All I can say is, long live Modi ji.”
Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker recalled, “My first meeting with Modi ji was after the 2018 Commonwealth Games when I won gold at age 16. He praised me a lot then. Since then, we have met at many events, and he always encourages me. Even in Tokyo before COVID, he made time for all players. Even after I returned, despite my performance not being great, he called and spoke to me, encouraging me to keep going.”
Former ISRO Chairman K. Sivan said, “He is a visionary leader. He cares for people during difficult times. Under his leadership over the last 10 years, India’s space program has grown exponentially, and he has provided a clear roadmap for creating our own space station.”
Cricketer Yuvraj Singh praised Modi Ji for always encouraging players, noting that the Prime Minister stands by them regardless of wins or losses, offering unwavering support and positivity.
As part of his 75th birthday celebrations, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh to launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ initiative and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaign. The nationwide health outreach will focus on women and children, with over 1 lakh health camps organized across government facilities from September 17 to October 2.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ in MP, a series of service-oriented programs targeting tribal regions.
