Narmada Canal Bridge on Ahmedabad–Dahegam Road for Shut fior repairs
September 27, 2025
Gandhinagar: Following the Gambhira bridge accident, authorities across the state began inspecting bridges, and heavy vehicles were immediately restricted from using weakened structures, including the bridge over the Narmada Canal on the Ahmedabad–Dahegam Road. Now, the bridge over the canal has been completely closed for three months to carry out extensive repair work.
Authorities stated that the bridge has been closed to ensure the safety of commuters while repair work is underway. This closure will increase travel distances for vehicles using this highway. However, once the repair work is completed, safety will be fully restored. DeshGujarat
