Tata Chemicals to invest ₹910 crore to expand Gujarat, Tamil Nadu plants

Ahmedabad: Tata Chemicals on Friday announced that its board has approved a total investment of Rs 910 crore to expand manufacturing capacities at its plants in Mithapur, Gujarat, and Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.
In a regulatory filing, the company stated that its board, in a meeting held on Friday, approved an investment of ₹135 crore towards the expansion of dense soda ash manufacturing capacity at its Mithapur plant, and ₹775 crore towards the expansion of precipitated silica manufacturing capacity at its Cuddalore plant in Tamil Nadu.
