Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Saturday carried out a demolition drive in Baldevnagar, located in the Sabarmati area, to remove residential and commercial encroachments obstructing a planned 24-metre-wide Town Planning (TP) road.

AMC teams, accompanied by adequate police bandobast, cleared a total of 30 structures, both homes and business units, as part of the operation. The action aims to facilitate the development and opening of the TP road as per the city’s planning provisions. DeshGujarat
