Gujarat State Pharmacy Council issues guidelines for pharmacist registration renewal
December 10, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Gujarat State Pharmacy Council has announced new guidelines for the renewal of pharmacist registrations whose validity expires on 31 December 2025. As per the notification, renewals for this batch will be accepted only through online mode between 1 January 2026 and 31 March 2026.
Pharmacists applying for renewal will be required to upload two documents — Aadhaar Card and Refresher Course Certificate.
Meanwhile, pharmacists aged 75 years and above will receive renewal for one year only and must upload three documents: 1. Aadhaar Card, 2. Refresher Course Certificate, and 3. Life Certificate (Hayati Certificate)
According to the council, if a pharmacist’s Aadhaar Card and Refresher Course Certificate are already uploaded in the system automatically, the portal will show only the ‘View’ option. Those who see the ‘Upload’ option must compulsorily upload the required documents.
The guidelines were issued by Mr. Gilbert C. Macwan, Additional Registrar, Gujarat State Pharmacy Council, Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
