Decision on Himmatnagar Urban Development Authority Put on Hold by Gujarat Govt

Gandhinagar: The state government has decided to temporarily postpone the formation of the Himmatnagar Urban Development Authority (HUDA) following detailed discussions with village leaders and local residents.
An important meeting was held today in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi, in accordance with the directions of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The meeting focused on concerns related to the proposed HUDA and was attended by village leaders and representatives from the affected areas.
Members of the committee constituted under the guidance of the Chief Minister were also present at the meeting. These included Minister Hrishikesh Patel, Arjunbhai Modhwadia, and Dr. Pradyumanbhai Vaja.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister patiently heard the issues and objections raised by village leaders and villagers regarding the proposed urban development authority. After considering their views and suggestions, the state government decided to defer the decision on the formation of HUDA for the time being.
The government stated that further consultations will be held before taking any final decision, ensuring that the interests and concerns of local residents are given due consideration. DeshGujarat
