Few Western Railway trains to be affected due to bullet train work in Ahmedabad till May 8

Ahmedabad: Several trains will be affected for over a month due to infrastructure work under the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) project on the Kankaria–Vatva railway section in the Ahmedabad Division of Western Railway.
The work involves the installation of precast portal beams, for which a traffic block will be imposed between April 4 and May 8, 2026.
Train Cancellations
Train No. 19036, Maninagar–Vadodara Intercity Express, will remain fully cancelled during the period.
Train No. 19035, Vadodara–Vatva Intercity Express, will also remain fully cancelled.
Stoppage Cancellation
The halt of Train No. 12902, Ahmedabad–Dadar Gujarat Mail at Maninagar station will be temporarily withdrawn during the same period.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check updated train schedules before travelling. Commuters can verify train status through the NTES app or the official Indian Railways enquiry website.
