After joining the BJP, former Congress MLA Bhavan Bharwad spoke to media at Gujarat BJP head quarter. Bharwad came to BJP headquarter with hundreds of supporters in his Hummer car. Following are excerpts of his talk with the media.
-We have six baaps(fathers) in Congress, but in BJP there’s only one baap.
-There are seven candidates for the post of the Chief Minister in Gujarat Congress.
-Central government has crossed the limits of corruption. Earlier we had not heard about such large figures.
-Gujarat has progressed in Narendra Modi’s rule. Earlier it used to take seven years to double your mone
-When my inclusion in BJP was okayed by Chief Minister Modi, he smiled and told me that he should now be assured of getting 4.50 per cent Bharwad/Rabari votes in his pocket. I told him, not 4.00 per cent but there are 5.5 per cent votes of Bharwad/Rabari community in the state, and I assure you that 5% will go to BJP. There are 55 lakh maldhari community voters in Gujarat.
-Earlier it would take seven years to double your money, but now you come to me and I would ensure your money will be doubled in a year. Gujarat ha progressed in Narendra Modi’s regime.
-I oppose UPA government’s decision to carve out minority quota from OBC share.
-I have joined the BJP without putting any condition.
