Bollywoof star Akshay Kumar and actress Sonakshi Sinha were in Ahmedabad to promote their forthcoming movie Rowdy Rathore. Speaking to media, Akshay Kumar said the film Rowdy Rathore is like a full Gujarati dish. It contains all kinds of tastes.

An action thriller film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala, Rowdy Rathore is scheduled for release on 1 June 2012. This film is a remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It will mark the return of Akshay Kumar in the action genre after 7 years.

The story is about Shiva (Akshay Kumar), a small conman who falls in love with Priya (Sonakshi Sinha), whom he met at a wedding he wasn’t invited to. Then comes six year old girl Neha who inexplicably believes Shiva to be her father. The rest of the movie is about the changes and responsibilities a little girl brings to Shiva’s life and how he becomes the only hope for people of a small town in Bihar against local MLA and his goons.
