This People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) volunteer dressed like a bird, stood outside GLS college’s gate in Amdavad’s Law garden area on Wednesday morning attempting to create awareness against the use of glass-coated threads for kite flying that kill and injure thousands of birds across Gujarat, before and during the festival of Uttarayan (14 January).
