Fresh updates on Nilofar cyclone preparedness

Fresh updates on Nilofar cyclone:
– Kandla and Mundra ports to remain closed from October 30 afternoon for two days.
-10 Sanjeevani mobile dispensaries are moved to Kutc district.
-60,000 food packets are prepared already. 30,000 people are being relocated in Kutch to 145 sites. Road to ports will be cordoned off.
-Action has been taken against two telephone operators for not receiving phone in local level control room. Actions are taken against five Talatis too.
-Air Force is taking precaution for safeguard to its air fields, navigation system and aircraft. Once cyclone speed decreases, Aircraft will be available for help.
-Coast Guard is keeping eye over movements of boats through its 8 radars on Gujarat coast.
