Gujarat Government is in the final stage of launching ambitious e-district project under which number of public services directly affecting on the rural masses will be available online.

Under the e-district project the Gujarat government has initiated first of it’s kind exercise of
the Data entry, Scanning & Digitization of documents, Creation of Metadata, Indexing & Uploading huge database. e-district services will also be available on mobile platforms also shortly.

e‐ Governance(e-seva) Societies have been activated in all the Districts under the leadership of the District collectors. This society shall play the role of DeGS conceived under the e ‐District. Various services under the e-district project is expected to be available in next two-three months.
