GSPC gets authorization to lay gas pipeline in Thane and DNH

Gujarat government run company Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation have got nod to lay gas pipeline network in Union Territory Dadra Nagar Haveli and Maharashtra state’s Thane area.
GSPC will invest Rs. 1400 crore to set up a network to supply gas to 10.76 lakh houses. It will also distribute gas through CNG stations and will supply gas to small and medium scale industries.
At present three City Gas Distribution(CGD) companies GSPC Gas, Gujarat Gas and Sabarnati Gas supply gas to 10.85 lakh houses through pipeline.
