Somnath
Presented here are the pictures from morning aarti of Shri Somnath Mahadev Jyotirlinga mandir in Gujarat on first Somvar of Shravan(Gujarati Hindu calendar month). While entire Shravan is considered as holy month by Hindus, four Somvars(Mondays) are considered especially auspicious as they are dedicated to Mahadev Shankar as per popular belief. Like every year, there is human sea witnessed in and outside the Somnath Mandir, gates of which are kept opened for extended hours during Shravan and especially on four Mondays to cop up with extra ordinary number of visitors.
