IranShah Udvada Utsav: Ratan Tata, Arun Jaitley cut birthday cake jointly

Tomorrow is birthday of Ratan Tata and Arun Jaitley. Both were today present on stage at Iranshah Udvada Utsav of Parsi community at Udvada in south Gujarat. The organizers led by sponsor of the event Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla had arranged cake for both the gentleman. The cake was cut in joyous atmosphere.
Iranshah Udvada Utsav is being held at Udvada with support of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd(TCGL) for three days 25-26-27 December. Today is the last day of this festival.
Parsi community head priest Dasturji Khurshedji Dastoor welcomed union finance minister and Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat Shri Arun Jaitley’s promise to conservation of Parsi heritage in Udvada and financial assistance for this cause.
Parsis from across the country and world are in holy town Udvada to celebrate the first-ever Iranshah Udvada Utsav. Udvada hasfamous fire temple of Iranshah Atash Behram. This is largest gathering of the community in India. Tourism minister of Gujarat Shri Saurabh Patel who was present on the first day of this Utsav announced Rs 20 crore for development of Udvada town in to a model for unity and harmony.
The Zoroastrians also enjoyed `Uziran Ge Maachi’ and yed `Uziran Ge Maachi’ and `Khushaali nu Jashan’ at the largest gathering of the community in the country .
“The old Parsi houses in Udvada will be preserved and new high-rise buildings will not be allowed,“ he said.
