New Delhi, 4 June 2012 India's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today said it will invest Rs 1100 crore in Gujarat to set up its fifth plant with a capacity of 1.2 million units. 3 September, 2011 Mint report says that Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) (earlier Hero Honda) plans to set up its manufacturing facility in Gujarat as per a report by a Mumbai-based brokerage quoting the company’s chairman Brijmohan Lall Munjal. “The Gujarat plant will mostly serve export markets.
