Ahmedabad: Six students from Gujarat finished in the top 100 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate 2024 (NEET-UG), the results of which were declared on Tuesday. A total of 24.06 lakh candidates from across the country, including 86,424 from Gujarat, took the test in May. Out of these, 13.16 lakh candidates qualified, with 57,197 of them being from Gujarat. Gujarat govt postpones fee hike for GMERS medical colleges in state

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has decided to postpone the proposed fee hike for medical colleges under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS) in the state. This new alteration has resulted in around 6,000 students losing their initially assigned seats.
