Gujarat Govt announces online E-FIR service for vehicle and mobile phone theft

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has started the e-FIR service through which people can file a complaint online for vehicle and mobile phone theft without going to the police station. State home minister Harsh Sanghavi informed about e-FIR service that the police will contact the complainant within 48 hours after the filing of FIR and visit the spot of the vehicle or mobile phone theft.
