Ahmedabad: A robbery took place today at Soni Himmatlal Shankarlalji, a gold and silver shop on Gandhi Road's Fatasa Ni Pol. The shop owner was shot in the leg and has been hospitalized. Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has started the e-FIR service through which people can file a complaint online for vehicle and mobile phone theft without going to the police station. State home minister Harsh Sanghavi informed about e-FIR service that the police will contact the complainant within 48 hours after the filing of FIR and visit the spot of the vehicle or mobile phone theft.
