Lion cub found dead in farm near Gir forest in Gujarat, liver infection caused the death

Amreli: A male lion cub aged 2-3 month old was found dead from farm close to East Gir forests in Igorala village of Khambha taluka in Armeli district of Gujarat today. CCF Junagadh D T Vasavada said that the body was found from the farm of of one Kanubhai Nathubhai Kunjaliya of Igorala village of Khambha taluka. Lion rescued from well in Gujarat
May 14, 2016Amreli A lion which had fallen in an open well near Zarakhada village under Savarkundala taluka of Amreli district has finally been rescued safely this afternoon after over five hours long operation by a team of forest department. The villagers tried to control it with local expertise, but it didn't work. Then they called the Forest department. During the task, one youth was injured in leg.
