Singapore’s high-level business delegation visits Narendra Modi

An 11-member high-level business delegation led by Singapore’s External Affairs and Law Minister K.Shanmugam paid courtesy visit to Chief Minister Narendra Modi today. The delegation expressed keenness in developing new sectors of partnership between Gujarat and Singapore.
Mr. Shanmugam and his delegation said that they are quite impressed by the Gujarat’s development. They showed interest in Gujarat government’s projects like GIFT, Dholera SIR and other investment regions.
Chief Minister outlined the partnership opportunities in Gujarat in the field of low-cost housing, water management and human resource development. He invited the Singapore government and companies to take part in approaching Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit-2013. The Singapore minister gladly accepted the Chief Minster’s invitation and said that Singapore government had taken part in earlier Vibrant Summits also and this time too the Singapore government and companies desire to take part in the Summit. Mr. Shanmugam also gave invitation for sending a Gujarat delegation to Singapore.
Principal Secretary for Industry Maheshwar Sahu and Secretary to Chief Minister A.K.Sharma was also present during the meet.
