Gujarat Govt to launch online ‘Non-Agriculture’ Process at Collectorate, to buy groundnut at Rs.1,000/maund MSP from Labh Pancham

Rajkot: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday announced that Gujarat Government will launch the online ‘Non-Agriculture’ (NA) Process and various related schemes at the Collectorate from the Labh Pancham Day.

He gave details of the scheme and also announced that the government will also start buying groundnut at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs.1,000 per maund, also from Labh Pancham Day. He said these decisive and effective important pro-people policies of the government should go a long way to improve the rural economy.

Rupani was speaking at a function to mark Jogi Swami Maharaj’s birth anniversary at Kareni village in Dhoraji taluka of Rajkot district.

He asked the people to invoke the blessings of Jogi Swami and absorb his teachings to make Gujarat addiction-free, virtuous, capable and strong. He said that modernisation of villages is necessary but at the same time they should maintain the spirit of Gujarat. He called on the people to walk on the path shown by the jewels of Gujarat like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Narsinh Mehta, Kavi Narmad, Dayanand Saraswati and Swami Sahajanand.

Rupani dedicated the Rasiklal Dhariwal School of the Swaminarayan Vidyapith on the occasion. He was welcomed by Purushottam Chotaliya amidst chanting of hymns.

Those present on the occasion included Food & Civil Supplies Minister Jayeshbhai Radadiya, Additional DGP Anil Pratham, Guru Govind University Vice-Chancellor Mahendra Padaliya, ex-Minister Chimanbhai Sapariya, ex-MP Vallabhbhai Kathiriya, ex-MLA Pravinbhai Makadia, Rajkot APMC Chairman D.K. Sakhiya, among other dignitaries.
