Deesa Municipality saves Rs 43,000 on power cost in two months

Deesa: Deesa municipality in north Gujarat has in last two months saved Rs 43,000 in electricity bills thanks to solar system erected atop the office building. The solar power system erected at municipality office generated 2700 units of power in last two months, of which 850 units were used by municipality office for its own needs while 1650 units were sold to power company for Rs 3.22 per unit.
