First two phases of Tapi Riverfront to be ready by mid 2013

About 70 per cent of the work of Tapi riverfront has been completed and Surat Municipal Corporation is planning to open the first and second phase of the project between Sarita Sagar complex and Sheetal Talkies by mid 2013. The five-phase project work upto Weir-cum-cauesway in Rander was kicked off in January last year. Surat is second city after Ahmedabad to have a riverfront project.
