Member of Parliament from Kutch Poonamben Jat is one of the 13 MPs who penned down chapters in Shashi Tharoor’s book ‘India: The Future is Now’.
The book was launched in a luxurious function at Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi this week.
The book compiled by Shashi Tharoor, the minister of state (MoS) for human resource development (HRD) contains chapters written by dozen young MPs from the Congress as well as other parties.
Kutch MP Poonamben Jat has penned down an 11-page chapter covering issues like corruption, agriculture, education, human development, nuclear power and women.
In a page-3 party of book launch at Taj Hotel in Delhi, Royal family man and politician Jyotiraditya Scindia, BJP’s rich young politician Anurag Thakur(former CM’s son), Anant Kumar(Karnataka BJP leader loyal to LK Advani), Actress turned BJP leader Vani Tripathi, Neelima Dalmia Adhar, Archana Dalmia, art critic Alka Pande, corporate biggie Sunil Alagh, former cricketer Abbas Ali Baig, hairstylist Jawed Habib, French ambassador to India, François Richier, BJD MP Jay Panda etc were present.
