VMC to convert Vishwamitri, Shastri bridges to four lane

Vadodara Municipal Corporation(VMC) has taken a decision to convert existing two-lane Vishwamitri and Shastri bridges to four- lane. As per a decision taken by the city municipal commissioner, these decades old bridges will be widened for smooth traffic. The VMC has also taken decision to execute widening work of Kalali bridge. However widening work of Vishwamitri and Shastri bridges will be in priority. The VMC recently opened new Dandiya bajar – Akota fly over bridge for public.
