The season of Kesar mango is over. The season was 49 days long this year. Talala market yard witnessed arrivel of 9.41 lakh boxes during the seaton. The last 800 boxes arrived on Monday.

According to yard office bearers the price per box remained Rs. 210 which was lower compared to previous 63 days long season when each box was priced at Rs. 254. The total arrival of boxes in previous season was at 1185086.

The total produce of Kesar mango is estimated at over 30 lakh boxes. Around 25 lakh boxes are estimated have traveled to stores at Ahemdabad, Rajkot and other places.

Castor prices high

Due to delayed rain, castor is yielding higher price to farmers. If rain delayes further, prices may go upto 900.
