A list of next 150-day goals under Gatishil Gujarat mission of Gujarat government

According to Gujarat government spokesperson ministers Nitin Patel and Saurabh Patel, the government has prepared an agenda of Gatisihil Gujarat for next 150 days(upto 31st March 2015) covering 18 main subjects and 111 activities. The entire government administration including district-taluka teams will be active in mission mode to achieve these goals.
Earlier, Chief Minister Patel had set a ‘Progressive Gujarat’ agenda for 100 days to lend a new direction to the state’s march to the progress on June 2, 2014 after she completed 30 days in the office. Gujarat Government has so far achieved 138.84 per cent of the target on 51 parameters, projects and programmes in 11 major heads. According to the government’s spokesperson-ministers Nitin Patel and Suarabh Patel the target to implement the pro-people policies could be achieved only because of the Chief Minister’s continuously directing, guiding and motivating the administration through an efficient and transparent work culture.
The achievements under different heads are as follows: women’s empowerment under eight heads 168.38%, nutrition under five parameters 111.80%, Mahatma Gandhi cleanliness programmes under seven parameters 406.83%, strengthening public order 103.95%, recruitment calendar providing jobs to 26,600 against a target of 20,000, Gujarat Urban Mission under three parameters 93.08%, smart learning in schools 104%, skill development 101% and recruitment fairs 118.85%. The notable achievement is in advancing Rs.60-crore loan women entrepreneurs from a revolving fund of Rs.8-crore under Mission Mangalam.
The ministers said that waste management schemes have been sanctioned in 2,500 villages under Mahatma Gandhi Swachchata Abhiyan, distributing 75,000 kits worth Rs.100-cr for providing potable drinking water in 159 municipalities, underground gutter projects worth Rs.780-crore and drinking water projects worth Rs.230-crore.
The ministers said the state government takes up different themes every year and deploy the entire administration on the said theme to ensure overhaul development under that head, indirectly presenting an image of a model proactive administration before the nation.
The next 150-day agenda was launched in Gandhinagar secretariat by the Chief Minister in presence of senior officials and ministers. Even district level officers joined the event through video conferencing.

Swawlamban Abhiyan
-A gift of tablet to 15,000 ITI students studying Computer courses
-Interest assistance scheme benefits to 7,000 youths under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Yuva Sahsikta Yojana

-Approval of housing units to 12,500 construction laborers under Aavas Sahay Yojana

-Jan Dhan card distribution to 50 lakh beneficiaries under Jan Dhan Yojana

Women’s empowerment
-Creation of 6,000 new groups of Mission Mangalam

-Milk cattle assistance to 10,000 tribal women
-Assistance to 200 rural women milk producing cooperative groups for construction of milk house
-300 square meter plot allotment to 200 women milk producing groups
-Widow assistance scheme benefits to widows
-Bicycles to 38,000 tribal girls studying in standard – 9
Nutrition mission
-Medical check-up of all students under school health checking programme
-Treatment to 10,000 low weight children in Anganwadi under CMTC
-Workshops in each high school through doctor for IFA(iron pills) given to girls
-200 new Bal Sewa Kendra for the treatment of malnourished children
-Expansion of Dudh Sanjivani scheme to total 26 talukas
Healthy Gujarat
-Distribution of 50,000 new cards of Mukhyamantri Amrutam(Ma) Yojana
-Awareness drive on Gutkha ban
-Covering 20 lakh families under Rashriya Swasthya Vima Yojana through new survey
-Monetary assistance to 1.5 lakh pregnant women under Janani Suraksha Yojana
Mahatma Gandhi Swachchata Abhiyan – Bharat Swachchata Mission
-Approval to 3 lakh new toilets
-Completion of construction of under-construction 2 lakh personal toilets
-Intensive drive under Bharat-Mahatma Gandhi Swachchata Abhiyan
-To strengthen the door to door collection system in 50 Municipality areas
-100 public toilets through Lease License Mode in urban areas
-Modernize the existing 500 public toilets in urban areas
-Intensive drive to check cleanliness in kitchen of food joints and stores selling eatable items.
-New 1,000 Nirmal Gram
-To make 10 talukas as Nirmal taluka
-Introduction of solid waste door to door collection system in villages having population in range of 5,000-10,000

Strengthening the public service system

-Removal of old unused furniture, vehicles and other items in government/semi government offices
-Complete wi-fi connectivity in Secretariat complex
E governance
-To make employees online under Saathi portal
-Launching of PRET for speedy government appointments
-Expansion of coverage of Mobile Governance
-Creation of 50 electronic modules to train the employees
Urban mission/infrastructural services
-Planning of one lakh new units under Affordable housing scheme
-Completion of ongoing construction of 25000 housing units
-Services in Municipalities through service centers under E-Nagar scheme
-Expansion of online services under E-Nagar
-Common E-portal for online services in urban areas
-Provision of services in urban areas through M-Governance
Rurban Mission
-Completion of 20 Rurban projects
-To develop 51 wi-fi equipped smart e-gram centers
Strengthening the Education system
-To start E learning service in 500 schools
-New 8500 classes in primary schools
-Construction of 3300 new class rooms in primary schools
-To make 20 new women hostel functional
