Launching of Private Airlines of Diamond barons in Surat on Diwali

Three diamond barons and one builder are soon jointly launching a private charter airlines with Surat as its base.
First plane (9 seater Cessna aircraft) is arriving today in Surat as part of this service which is likely to be launched on Diwali day(October 23).
The service has been named ‘Diamond Aeronautics’.
Diamond barons Laljibhai Patel(Dharmanandan diamon), Savjibhai Dholakia(Shri Hare Krishna Export), Govindbhai Dholakia (Shri Ram Krishna Export) and real estate king Lavji Daliya(Lavji Badshah) have planned purchase of total three aircraft and one helicopter to connect Surat with important cities across Gujarat and India.
According to Laljibhai Patel, this initiative is not aimed at earning profit. The motive is to provide connectivity to Surat city and to serve the people. While two aircraft will be 9 seater, one aircraft will be a 4 seater. First plane arriving today on Dhan Teras is 9 seater aircraft. The other two aircraft are presently in Bhopal and Orissa. They will be brought to Surat in December around.
Airlines will be able to connect Surat to Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Bhuj, Amreli, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Shirdi.
Update: Water canon ceremony at Surat airport for first plane(Ventura company) was witnessed by company’s founders, Dharma Vallabhdasji Swami, MPs, Mayor, Municipal Commissioner and Police Commissioner.
One hour rent of plane has been fixed at Rs. 70,000. Surat-Ahmedabad distance will be one hour through this flight. Air taxi service for patients who need treatment will be started on no-profit basis. Inter-state permission for countrywide operation has been sought.
