Ahmedabad’s major tourist attraction – Kankaria lake front will remain close for general visitors from 6 January to 9 January 2015 due to Pravasi Bharatiya Divas events that are scheduled to take place here during this period.

Various recreation activities like Atal and Swarnim Jayanti express trains, aqua cart, segway safari, adventure tree-walk, miniature gold course, mirror maze, archery range and fish-house will also remain close during this period.
