Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Germany in April when India will be the partner country at the Hannover Fair.
Conveying this to German Finance Minister Wolfgang Sch?uble who called on him here, Modi said he was looking forward to the visit to meet Chancellor Angela Merkel whom he had first met in Australia on the sidelines of G-20 Summit in October last year.
Modi and Sch?uble discussed the key areas of bilateral cooperation, like green energy, infrastructure, Make-in-India, affordable housing, and clean ganga, a PMO statement said.
They also discussed the federal structure of India, its parallels with Germany, and the lessons that could be applied to the evolving political structure of Europe, it added.
