Patanjali yogpeeth doing great service to the nation: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said Patanjali Yogpeeth was doing a great service to the nation by acquainting the rest of the world with the country’s diverse cultural legacy of which yoga and Ayurveda were a part.
“By popularising yoga and ayurveda all over the world Patanjali yogpeeth has taken a big step towards familiarising the world with its diverse culture and value-based past,” said Khattar who met yoga guru Ramdev and his close aide Balkrishna to discuss steps to make yoga part of the school curriculum and open yogshalas in Haryana.
“We are committed to enrich the lives of people of Haryana by connecting them to yoga,”he said.
Yoga and ayurveda will not only improve the health of people in Haryana but also create employment opportunities for the youth of the state, he said.
Ramdev ?who was recently made the brand ambassador of Haryana said Patanjali will offer all help to Haryana government in its efforts to promote yoga and ayurveda.
