National president of BJP Shri Amit Shah today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel at Gujarat assembly complex in Gandhinagar. This courtesy meeting was joined by Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasmaa, Chief Whip of BJP and Nadiad MLA Pankajbhai Desai and state unit BJP president RC Faldu.

Shri Shah earlier received rousing welcome when he stepped inside the assembly house to attend the ongoing Budget session by BJP MLAs. Shah was attending the assembly session as Naranpura MLA for the first time after becoming national president of party.

Shah arrived at assembly complex post 4.00 pm. He was welcomed by ministers and chief whip at the entrance of assembly complex. He also met Gujarat assembly Speaker Ganpat Vasava.
