Cost of damage to assembly complex to be recovered from MLAs responsible

Cost of damage to furniture in assembly house and in lobby of assembly complex will be recovered from Congress MLAs responsible for ransacking act yesterday. A ruling in this regard was passed by Speaker Ganpat Vasava today after BJP moved resolution on same. Earlier Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja had raised point of order demanding same. In other development, police complaint has been filed against 19 Congress MLAs for yesterday’s ransack act inside the state assembly complex. Congress MLAs today gathered at Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in assembly campus and paused for photos/video in presence of media. They took pledge and showcased banners. Leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela said Congress MLAs would go to police station on their own and surrender if government wants to arrest them for yesterday’s incidents.
