Nepal bus accident: Dead bodies, injured taken to Ahmedabad in IAF plane

A special plane of Indian Air Force today brought dead bodies of 17 Indians to Ahmedabad from Nepal. All of them were from Surendranagar district of Gujarat. They were killed in a bus accident on Kathmandu-Gorakhpur road in Nepal.
The Air Force plane also brought injured pilgrims, of which 6 were immediately taken to Civil hospital in Ahmedabad for treatment.
Gujarat Ministers Nitinbhai Patel, Jayantibhai Kavadia and Tarachand Chheda took entire responsibility of treatment of those injured and transportation of dead bodies to Surendranagar district.
Minister Nitin Patel said that government has made arrangement of dead body vans to carry the dead bodies to various towns in Surendranagar district. He said the state government has already announced Rs. 4 lakh assistance to family of each pilgrim who died in this bus accident.
City Mayor, leaders IK Jadeja, Shailesh Parmar, Badruddin Sheikh, MLA Varshaben Doshi, Collector Beniwal etc were present at airport.
Relatives of victims speaking to TV channel crews at the airport thanked the state and central government for their help in difficult time.
