Curfew in Mahesana,Surat,Unjha,Visnagar: schools to observe holiday on Wednesday

Schools and colleges on Wednesday will remain closed in Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat following violence today evening after Patidar rally.
Some mobile internet services are not working.
Curfew has been imposed in Mahesana town and also in Kapodra and Sarthana police stations areas of Surat city.
Chief Minister Anandiben Patel tweeted: I urge people to refrain from spreading and believing any rumors and support state administration in maintaining peace and harmony across Gujarat. I have asked police commissioner to carry out thorough investigation in series of events and appropriate action will be taken against the guilty.
