Surat Bus arson:case of rioting filed against 40 unidentified miscreants

Surat
case of rioting has been lodged against 40 unidentified people in connection with the burning of two buses of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation in Sathana police station area of the city.
Police today said that it was investigating the incident which took place near Simada naka of the city at 1 am past mid night.
A mob of miscreants, suspected to be supporters of jailed Patidar quota stir leader Hardik Patel, who started a fast inside Lajpore central jail here yesterday, or some other anti government elements, burnt the two ST buses with petrol filled bottles. The buses were badly damaged though nobody was injured in the incident.
