Decision on Anandiben’s letter to be taken in Central Parliamentary Board of BJP: Amit Shah

New Delhi: National president of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) Shri Amit Shah today while speaking to news agency ANI said: Anandiben had proposed to step down long ago. She also spoke to me even at party executive in Prayag. She has sent a letter today morning to me in this regard and expressed her wish that she is completing 75 years in upcoming month of November and because party would appoint new person on completion of her 75 years, the new person should get time. Anandiben has requested to step down and I will put her letter before parliamentary board. She has worked very well as first woman Chief Minister. Narendrabhai started development march in Gujarat and Anandiben continued it very well. She has described only one reason that new person who is to be appointed on completion of her 75 years should get time as general elections and Vibrant Gujarat summit are scheduled next year.
