Gujarat completes 46.24% rain of monsoon, Dhrol tops, Dhrangadhra last

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has completed 46.24% of monsoon season’s average total shower as of 8.00 am today.
South Gujarat region has received highest 48.73% shower so far. East-Central Gujarat has received 38.86% shower while North Gujarat region has received 38.96% shower. Kutch region has recieved 33.21% shower while Saurashtra region has received 48.89% shower.
There are only five talukas in Gujarat that are Dhrol, Jamjodhpur, Khambhalia, Meghraj and Umergaon that have received over 100% shower. Among them Dhrol is at number one place with 124.15% shower received so far followed by Khambhalia at 116.27%.
With just little over 5% rain Dhrangadhra is in worst situation while Wav in North Gujarat has attracted little over 7% rain.
