Ahmedabad: 5th annual Ahmdedabad flower show by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) will kick off tomorrow at Sabarmati Riverfront Event Ground. The flower show will continue to remain open till January 13.

According to AMC, the flower show this year has been organized over 1 lakh square meter space. it will have over 5 lakh plants in exhibition covering over 750 varieties.

As many as 45 live sculptures depicting dinosaur, various animals, three gates, wind mill, watch tower, sports cut out etc will be on display at the flower show.

Theme based live drawing competition will be held every day during flower show. Paintings by children/youths will be exhibited at the venue.

Live demonstration of green house, separate dome hosting exhibition by Forest department of Government of Gujarat, exhibition cum selling of plants by 13 nurseries, 27 stalls selling fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, garden tools, 120 stalls of handicraft items, 5 stalls offering organic products produced by progressive farmers, food stalls are some other attractions at flower show which every year attracts large number of visitors.
