Tata Motors may discontinue Nano in domestic market in next few years
July 10, 2017
Ahmedabad: According to a report, Tata Motors may discontinue its Nano car model for domestic market in near future. There are three main reasons for this. One is that all cars will need to pass crash test by 2019. The other reason is Bharat VI implementation from year 2020. The third reason is decreasing domestic sell of Nano. To make Nano relevant post crash test and Bharat IV compliance, Tat Motors will need to invest more for which it is not ready. Tata Motors might continue to export Nano model abroad.
